Casa Comala Fundraiser!

I am donating an original 9” x 12” watercolor painting (image on the right) to raise funds for the Casa Comala residency project via a silent auction. 100% of the proceeds will go to the residency. Please place your bid through the form below. Current bids and contact information can be viewed on the spreadsheet that follows. The silent auction closes at midnight EST on November 30th, 2024 and the winning bidder will be notified via email. Payment is to be made directly to Casa Comala. The watercolor painting, “Pontormo as Fungus”, 2023, can be picked up in person in Brooklyn or mailed.

Casa Comala is a free-to-use artist residency space located in a forested nature preserve in the mountains outside of Guadalajara. Casa Comala is a home and haven—hence, the term “casa” in the name. Casa Comala does not exist to generate a profit. It exists to foster community and creative work. It's a space where artists can create, connect, and rest.
